When to go
November to February
Mohenjo-daro is older than the pyramids of Giza and was once the size of Manhattan. Walking its grid streets, drains and granaries and the Great Bath all still legible, is one of the most underrated archaeological experiences in Asia.
We charter a private flight from Karachi or Islamabad, visit with a senior archaeologist from the National Museum, and stay overnight at a restored haveli in the river town of Sukkur.
